Blanca sought out yoga as a way to help become more physically flexible and toned. After her first class, something inside clicked and she realized there was a lot more to "yoga" than the physical. She left feeling not only sore in places she never felt before, she felt a calm, blissful feeling inside that was the closest she ever got to experiencing peace, both mentally and emotionally. She knew instantly this was a path she wanted to commit to. Her commitment to her practice and studies gives her the ability to give the best of the practice, to her students. She believes this practice can give students the space to be still, breathe, and receive all they strive for. Blanca's goal as a teacher is to motivate and inspire her students to build the power to manifest all they desire on the mat and in life.
Blanca received her yoga certification through Moksha Yoga Center in 2003 at age 18. She continued her studies with many different teachers, equipping herself with knowledge and inspiration, to be able to offer her students the very best teachings of the practice. She trained with various masters, building a deeper understanding of yoga's many limbs.
Blanca teaches Thursday 6:30-7:30pm
Jen spent eight years in the ad-agency world, often daydreaming about becoming a yoga instructor from her cubicle. She decided it was time for a change and embarked on an extended journey through SE Asia. While in Bali, Indonesia, she enrolled in a yoga teacher-training program where she received her 200-hour yoga certification from Power of Now Oasis. Jen has enjoyed the many benefits of yoga ever since her first class in college and has a strong desire to deepen her practice and share it with others.
Jen believes everyday subtleties have the power to transform one’s life and the surrounding community. She believes in smiling at strangers, taking time to simply breath and focusing on the present. She’s an informative teacher who considers patience and honesty to be the keys to the physical and spiritual practice of yoga. During class, Jen focuses on breath, proper alignment and a sense of calm.
Jen teaches Saturday 9:00-10:00 am
I began practicing yoga in 2009 while attending graduate school in New York City and it revealed to me a place of peace and wholeness within myself in the midst of the vibrant chaos of city life. My teaching style is a balance between energizing flow and relaxing stretch and is influenced by years of practicing with yoga teachers from around the world, studying psychology, and experiencing life. Each class is taught with intention and intuition, taking into account the season, time of day, and goals of each student. Students are encouraged to cultivate awareness of the body and mind while gently moving towards greater strength, flexibility, mindfulness, and overall health. Students can expect to leave class relaxed, focused, and ready to return to the workplace or home with renewed energy, clarity, and creativity.
Carly teaches Wednesdays 6:00-7:00am & Friday 6:00-7:00 am
My love for fitness and movement started at a very young age and evolved over the years, going through phases and cycles between tennis, running, weight training, biking … basically anything to keep my heart pumping and body strong.
While working and living abroad in Southeast Asia, I discovered the beautiful practice of yoga. In a small gym studio, with an instructor that barely spoke English, she introduced to the scared practice of Ashtanga. I was hooked. That’s when the certifications, workshops and learning began.
After many years spent abroad, returning to the United States, and transitioning into a corporate role for some time, I still continued my practice and study of yoga. Here I am today, fully committed to teaching. I can’t even begin to express my excitement to have the sun above my head and sand in my toes as I share this practice on the beach.
Nicole teaches Mondays 10:00-11:00 am
Jessica’s beach yoga classes incorporate a stimulating flow with brief breath work and meditation to cultivate greater body awareness and a sense of empowered mindfulness.
Her multilevel classes offer a casual environment to take familiar poses deeper and explore more challenging poses in a relaxed atmosphere. Jessica holds an advanced yoga teacher certification ( 500-hr Certification, Moksha Yoga) and has trained with an eclectic mix of over 30 master yoga teachers.
Her style draws heavily from classical yoga styles (Iyenger, Ashtanga, Vin Yoga) as well as their more modern off-shoots (Anusara, Purna).
As a medical student and neuroscientist, Jessica’s teaching is further informed by her in depth knowledge of human psychology, anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
Jessica teaches Level 2-3 Saturday at 9:00-10:00 am
Kristin began doing yoga while living and working in southern Spain. She was helping to start a company and was very stressed. A friend of hers recommended a yoga class to her saying, “if you do yoga consistently and over time, it will change your life.” As her practice grew she began to feel and see the affects in her daily life and in her relationships, and began to feel the transformation of yoga. She says, “In yoga, we connect to our inner light, essence, or soul, and learn that the answers to our questions cannot be found outside of ourselves. We turn inside to find that we hold the answers inside of us.”
Kristin is a certified yoga teacher and completed her teacher training program through Moksha Yoga. She teaches vinyasa, a type of yoga which synchronizes breath to movement resulting in a dynamic and flowing class.
In class, Kristin aspires to help her students in discovering and living the consistent transformation that is yoga. Her classes are vinyasa-inspired with a focus on pranayama. As a teacher she is inspired by Iyengar principals of alignment, the physical challenges of Astanga, and the balancing principals and breath techniques of Tantra. Expect to move through a challenging class, and leave feeling balanced and refreshed.
Kristin teaches Tuesday 10:00-11:00 am

Erica took her first yoga class in 1999, while navigating the fast-paced media world of New York City and attempting to emulate Madonna. (It was the Material Girl's "Ray of Light" phase, which included a heavy dose of yoga.) Since then, her practice has blossomed into one where she aspires to share with others the transformative power of yoga: to cultivate focus, awareness and empowerment. A graduate of Moksha Yoga Center’s teacher training program, Erica has studied with a diverse mix of master yoga teachers across the USA, India, Nepal, Thailand, Mexico and Greece. With an emphasis on dynamic movement, mindful breath work and proper alignment, Erica’s classes are thoughtful and playful – always encouraging students to apply lessons learned on the mat into the “real world.”
Erica teaches Saturday 9:00-10:00 am.
I began my health journey when severe allergies and migraines swiftly consumed my life during college as I studied engineering and marketing. Moksha Yoga Studios has opened my entire world up to the classical, pure roots of yoga and I’ve completed the 200hr certification program there this year with plans to continue on to 500hr.
My classes, starting from a place of internal awareness, move toward strengthening and stretching the body but while deeply calming the nervous system and focusing the mind. Gathering energy in through breath and alignment, the practice will allow you to experience a deeper sense of self. I hope to guide you towards the balance, peace and potent unconditional bliss in body and mind that the traditional yogic teachings have to share. It will be a true gift to teach YOU!
Denise teaches Tuesday & Thursday 6:30-7:30 PM
